Steven Russell Coubert, was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the age of 58.
Steven was born on October 19, 1964, in Frankfort, Kentucky to Bernard Prentice Coubert and Shirley Ann Loman. He was a devoted and faithful husband, loving father, uncle, brother, grandpa, and friend. He worked for the City of Pascagoula in public works as a construction crew supervisor. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was truly one of a kind, compassionate, loving, and caring. He preferred others before himself and had the unique ability to bring laughter wherever he was. His unexpected death has brought many tears but the memories he leaves will bring a smile in the days to come.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard Prentice Coubert. Those left to cherish him in memory are his wife of 38 years, Peggy Coubert of Gautier, MS; his mother, Shirley Ann Loman; three children, Kyle Coubert (Ariel) of Hurley , MS, Lauren Coubert of Mobile, AL and Aaron Greve of TN; Brothers Skip Peffer, Mark Peffer, Isaac Coubert, and Robert Coubert; and his grandchildren, Luke Coubert, Skyler Coubert, Allen Charlton and Isabel and Amelia Greve; and a multitude of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 27, 2023, at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 5-6 pm followed by a memorial service at 6 pm in the chapel. Bro. David Thomas will officiate the service.
