Suellen Bogdahn Lynn

Surrounded by loved ones, Suellen Bogdahn Lynn passed away on April 10 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

Suellen was born on June 23, 1949 in Greenwood, MS to Henry Jack Bogdahn and Cythina. She was the oldest of five children. At the age of 5, her family moved to Pascagoula where she grew up. She graduated in the class of 1967 from Pascagoula High School. After, she attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where she met her other half. After much time spent together,  Suellen married John Lynn in 1969, and they have spent over 55 years together.

She is preceded in death by her parents,Henry Jack Bogdahn and Cynthia Bogdahn, brother-in-laws, Steve Lynn, Mark Lynn, and Dan Woods.

To cherish her loving memories she leaves behind her husband, John Lynn of Moss Point, 2 sons and 1 daughter Bryan Lynn, Cari Allen, and Chris Lynn, grandchildren, Austin Allen, Alex Allen, and Ashlynn Allen; great-grandchildren Contessa Allen, Thea Allen, and Cari “Belle” Allen, siblings Rene Woods of Diberville, Jackie (Dan) Tilka of Port Charlotte, FL., Joseph (Heather) Bogdahn of Winterhaven, FL., Billy Bogdahn of Pascagoula sisters-in-love Kim (Ronnie) Crocker of Pascagoula, Kelly Allen of Lafayette, LA., and Theresa Lynn of Pascagoula, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 14, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 at First Methodist Church of Pascagoula, with the service starting at 2:00 with Brother Eddie Kirby officiating. Pallbearers will be Alex Allen, Jared Crocker, Ronnie Crocker, Paul Kemp, Kevin Reynolds, and Cliff Williams. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the scholarship fund at First Methodist Church of Pascagoula.
