Terry R. Bloodsworth Sr., age 72, passed away on September 9, 2022. He was born December 21, 1949 in Chattanooga, TN to M.S. Bloodsworth and Margaret Chandler. Terry attended Pascagoula High School and joined the United States Army at the age of 17. He was extremely patriotic, and devoted 4 years of his life to serving his country.
Terry was a longtime resident of Gautier, MS, and attended Martin Bluff Baptist Church. He loved spending time hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. When he wasn’t outside enjoying what nature had to offer, he was cooking, drawing murals in his home, and cheering on the Saints. Terry was the owner of TJs Produce for over 15 years, where he was known in the community as Mr. B. with the best cajun boiled peanuts in Jackson County. Terry never met a stranger, and would not hesitate to help someone in need. He was generous and had a big heart.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings as listed; brother, Jimmy Joe Bloodsworth; and sister, Elizabeth Clark.
He is survived by his son, Terry Randall Bloodsworth Jr; daughters, Lisa Marie Nelson (Bradley), and April Sue Church (Joey Turner); the mother of his children, Regina West; brother, Cecil Bloodsworth; sisters, Barbara Yeager, Linda DeWoody, and Virginia Ladnier; grandchildren, Dylan Bloodsworth, Jade Mears, Drevon Church, Trey Church, Maci Bloodsworth, Brianna Fortenberry, Addison Nelson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:00am at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors to follow.
