Troy Fairchild

Troy Lewis Fairchild passed away at his home on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the age of 59. Troy was born in Pasco, Washington on September 30, 1964, to the late James and Shannon Fairchild.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Colleen Wionia Fairchild, children, Ashley Babcock (Bobby Pratt) and Micah Thompson; granddaughter, Abriell Rose Pratt; siblings, Joe Fairchild, James Fairchild, Dianne Thompson, and Mary Vedder (spouse, Rusell); mother-in-law, Darlene L. Dornbusch.

He was a member of the IBEW he worked as an electrician at Ingalls Shipbuilding Yard for the past 18 years. Troy served in the Marine Corp during the 1980’s as a Tank repairman and was an expert rifleman.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Troy was always in service of his fellow man, both members and non-members of his church as well as his family and friends. He served as a Ward Missionary and a Counselor in the Elders Quorum among many other church positions throughout the years.

A giver by nature, he enjoyed doing for others by giving his time, resources, and offering comfort to all.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 4:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1320 Martin Street, Pascagoula, MS
