Trudy Ann Moye

Our dear mother, Trudy Ann Moye, sadly passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 76.

She was born in Henderson, KY on March 6, 1949. She was a wonderful, caring, active mother who was always there no matter what, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She kept her faith through all of her trials and showed how much her family meant to her. She leaves behind a wonderful example for us follow. Trudy was the heart and soul of our family and will be deeply missed.

A friend to many, she was a fierce protector, a source of wisdom and the life of the party. Trudy was a cherished member of the community in Gautier, Ms. leaving a legacy of kindness and strength.

She is preceded in by her parents, Harold Gibson and Peggy Stover and a granddaughter Paige Moye; siblings, Phyllis Ostrowski, Pam Gibson, Robert Gibson, Kathy Parnell and Linda Holley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Moye Sr of Gautier, and two sons, Charles Moye Jr (Lorinda) of Gautier and Scott Moye (Monica) of Biloxi; 3 siblings; Karen ( Steve) Kitchens, Vicky Owens  and Harold ( Jenny) Gibson; 6 grandchildren Cierra Moye Newell (Scott) of Texas, Trey Moye, Christopher Reeves, Alex Reeves all of Gautier, Joshua Moye and Brooke Hinton of Biloxi, and 2 great-grandchildren Silas and Sawyer Newell of Texas, along with countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.

Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2025 at Gautier O’Bryant-O’ Keefe Funeral Home from 10am-12noon. The Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at noon. Interment will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, MS.
