Vera Allen Killingsworth, age 90, of Escatawpa passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025 at her home. She was born May 1, 1935 in Moss Point. She graduated from Moss Point High School. On January 24, 1954, she married her true companion of life and devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed making quilts for her loved ones, arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billy Ray Killingsworth; two sons, Terry Lynn Killingsworth and Mark Allen Killingsworth; and great-grandchild Caleb Killingsworth
Vera is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Killingsworth Winegar, Escatawpa, MS; her two daughters-in-law, Amy Killingsworth of Monticello, Arkansas and Pamela Killingsworth Ocean Springs, MS; Six grandchildren, Stephanie Killingsworth, Allen Killingsworth, Jeremy Killingsworth (Brittany), Taylor Winegar (Alex), David Barclay (Amber), and Aaron Killingsworth; 8 great-grandchildren, Hanna Smith, Luke Smith, Dylan Killingsworth, Tyler Killingsworth, Maddie Killingsworth, Jayce Lofton, Jordan Killingsworth and Elijah Killingsworth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2025, 10:00-11:00am, O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Derrick Killingsworth officiating. Graveside service will be privately held at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
