Victoria Lee Franklin

Victoria Lee Franklin “Vicki” left this earth to walk with God on April 26, 2023 in Ocean Springs, MS, with her loved ones around her.

She was a member of Martin Bluff Baptist Church in Gautier where she was in the pew every time the doors were open. She helped with VBS and many other church functions and activities that she loved. Her favorite thing to do was to hang out with her cats, Moe and Joe. She enjoyed family chats on the weekends with everyone. She made a trip to Tupelo, MS in 2021 to see Elvis’s birth place because she loved everything about Elvis and had a room full of his stuff.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul Coil; her mom, Frances Bennett (Nana); her dad, Charles Chuck Bennett (Pawpaw); her sister-in-law, Bessie Bennett; and her four-legged best friends, Snoopy and Digger.

She leaves behind on this earth to wait their turn to walk with God: her three daughters, Connie Perry (Graham), Dr. Victoria Young, and Elizabeth Browning (Tim); her two brothers, Joe Cavanaugh and Charles (Butch) Bennett; her two sisters, Charlene Sasser (Dennis) and Brenda Ladnier; her grandkids, Kyanna Perry, Kiya Perry, Kylan Perry, Kendra Franklin, Joseph Payton Stokley-Rios (Adan), Dale Franklin, Haley Franklin, and Timothy (TJ) Browning (Jennifer); her great-grandkids, Oshen Perry, Kayen McCreagh, Avayah McGreagh, Roman Scheffler, John-Henry Wylie, Cameron Johnson, and Timothy (Boogie) Browning. She had a ton of nieces and nephews along with many other loved ones that called her “Granny.”

A special thanks to her church friends, family, and everyone that had made an impact on her life.

A memorial service will be held on April 29, 2023, at Martin Bluff Baptist Church at 10 am.
