Vincent Lee Ros

Vincent Lee Ros passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Vincent was born on July 7, 1941, in Pascagoula, MS to the late Vincent P. and Dora Ros. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and 2 terms as a Pascagoula City Councilman. He retired in 2011 from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 47 years of service. Vincent loved God and country, and he proved it in the way he lived and the way he died. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with family and looked forward to his annual vacation with his lifelong friends, who referred to
themselves as “the big 6”. 

In the past few weeks, when his diagnosis seemed dire, he never lost faith or hope. He chose to make memories until the end and leave this world the way he lived, with dignity and integrity. Thank you for the memories, the love, and the laughter.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Darrin Ros. 

He is survived by wife of 62 years, Trinell Stokley Ros; children, Joanna (Mike) Kelly, Scott Ros, and Amanda Ros; siblings, Douglas (Judy) Ros, Judy (Julius) Rush and Sheila (Morris) Bloodworth; grandchildren Dana (Ben) Requet, Nicole Ros, Matthew (Hanna) Steiner, Vincent Pol (Hollyn) Steiner, Timothy Steiner, Cameron Ros, and Jordan Ros; great grandchildren Mary Frances Requet, John Vincent Requet, Matthew Ditsworth II, David DeOrnellas, George Steiner, Cecilia Steiner, and Genevieve Steiner, and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday November 7, 2025 from 10-11 at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church with Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father Adam officiating. Interment will conclude at Greenwood Cemetery in Pascagoula.
