Walter Donald Maderski

Walter Donald Maderski, age 94, of Gautier passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021 at Singing River Hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1926 in Newark, NJ.  Walter was a U.S. Navy veteran having service during WWII. He was a retired New Jersey State Trooper for 27 years. Walter was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier and American Legion Post 1992 in Gautier. 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years, Gloria Richards Maderski, and his parents, Walter and Catherine Maderski.

He is survived by his nephew and niece, Dennis and Jude Hagin, Ponte Vedra, Florida. 

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, 11:00 AM, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
