Willie Louis Ezell was born on January 16, 1940 in Choctaw County, Alabama to Edmond and Sarlestine Ezell. Willie was employed with Mississippi Phosphate for 40 years. He was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Ezell; brother, Hardie Ezell; sisters, Mattie Bee Ezell; Lula Yvonne Ezell and son, Jerry Ezell.
Willie is survived by two sons, Gregory (Victoria) Ezell and Dwayne (Betty) Ezell; two daughters, Cathy Warren and Yvonne Ezell; 10 grandchildren, Natara, Nakia, Jermaine, Travis, Montrice, and Ronnie Jr., Gregory, Jr., Faith, Anthony and Kaneesha; 11 great grandchildren, Jada, Tayla, Xavier (late Jayla), Aiden, Nathan, Markese, Devontae, Akeem, Rico Jr., Jeremiah; 3 sisters-in-law, Gertrude Turner, Jettie Bolden, and Sadie Ezell; one brother-in-law, Louis Spear; host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, 10:00-11:00am at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, 1320 Market Street, Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am Pastor William H. Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Scranton Cemetery in Pascagoula.
Active Pallbearers will be Anthony Ezell, Joe Crawford, Darrin Hutchins, Walter Payne, Ricky McBride, Tre’ Johnson, Markese Johnson, Devontae Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Akeem Ezell, Rico McBride, Jr, and Jeremiah McBride.
